At GIS we recognize the need to educate our students to become active citizens who contribute to their community both on a local and global level. We focus on developing interpersonals skills, how our students contribute to their peers, school and families, and develop an understanding of their role as global citizens. We promote environmental awareness, focusing on recycling, sustainable development and reduction in the production of waste; and provide opportunities for community service. The community service programme is designed both to raise funds and engage our students in the use of these funds to support others.
