SELAMAT DATANG
That’s “WELCOME” in the national language. We welcome you to Garden International School, Malaysia – a school where students from over 58 countries pursue both academic excellence and personal development which will enable them to take a leading role in an ever-changing global community.
We are proud of our facilities, teaching and learning environment but most of all, our students and staff. With an exceptional display of dedication and harmony, the school has been ranked amongst the best in the World.
From a modest, nondescript beginning in an Englishwoman’s living room in 1951, the school started as a kindergarten and sprouted into a primary school. Today, Garden International School has grown to become the largest international school in Malaysia with a British system of education which is internationally acknowledged to be among the very best in the world.
Our impressive campuses in Kuala Lumpur provide education for children aged 3 to 18 years. The main campus serving Years 1 to 13 in Bukit Kiara spreads over 9 acres and is purpose-built to world standards in 1996. Our children in Nursery & Reception moved into their very own Early Years Centre in Desa Sri Hartamas in 2008. Its location is approximately 1 km from the main campus.
Our school in Kuantan, on the East Coast of Malaysia, is warm and friendly with children from 3 to 13 years of age.
Our Admissions Team is here to provide you with information about the school, to answer your questions and, when you are in Kuala Lumpur, to introduce you to our facilities.
Admission to the school is open to all nationalities including qualified Malaysians. The school will endorse an application form (Lampiran 1) for Malaysians as this is to be submitted to the Ministry of Education. The endorsement however does not constitute an offer of place until all requirements of admission are met and a place is available.
As part of the application process, your child will be given a placement assessment to enable us to place him or her in the most appropriate teaching group. We are able to cater for children with a wide range of abilities. An offer of admissions to the school is also based on the belief that a child will benefit from the curriculum offered and that his or her admission will not have a detrimental effect upon the education of existing students. Offers are made upon availability of place.
The links will guide you through the admission process, provide relevant information and downloadable forms. If you require an admissions pack, please let us know. Our office is open Mondays to Fridays and we welcome you and your family for a school tour. Do contact us for an appointment at + 603 – 6209 6888 (Kuala Lumpur) or + 609 – 567 3391 (Kuantan) or send an e-mail to admissions@gardenschool.edu.my
We look forward to hearing from you !
