THE SNOWMAN AND SANTA CLAUS

 

This is the story of a snowman that was bad and his heart was as cold as ice. His name was Christmas and was created by a little boy that was considered a very nice boy by his friends, his parents and his neighbours next door, too.

The name of the boy was Nicola but he was nicknamed “Claus” by everybody because his mother, when he was very young, used to call him like that.

In the city where he lived it was Christmas time. Claus in that moments became very sad. His behaviur came from his father’ s behaviour. In fact his father every Christmas left for an unknown destination. He spent the Christmas time only with his mother.

One day he decided to build a snowman. When it was finished he thought that could consider it as a Christmas dad, so he decided to call him Christmas. Every day, he spent his time with Christmas, he spoke to the snowman  as though he was a true man, a true dad. However his behaviur changed in a little time.

He had contrasting sentiments that were passed on the snowman puppet. For this reason, Christmas became worse and worse and more and more freezed.

In the same time a family moved into a house next to Claus’s house. In the new family there was a nice girl, a new friend for Claus. The name of the girl was Clara. Claus and Clara immediately became best friends.

While the new friends played the sadness of Claus changed into love.

The snowman looked at the boy and he became better. Christmas turned from ice into water. The building of the snowman  kept the father’ s return.

This was the first of a long series of Christmases that he spent with his parents. In this moment there was Clara’s family, too.

The Christmas party was unforgettable.

The day after the party, Claus’s father revealed his secret. He was Santa Claus and now he passed on the his role to Claus.

In the end, for this reason Santa Claus was called San Nicola, too.

Nicola was perfect as a Santa Claus with Christmas that lived in his heart for ever.
