THE VANISHED CHRISTMAS TREES

On the eve of Christmas, Luca was having dinner at his grandparents’ home who had cooked some fish courses because his family, according to the tradition, ate fish at Christmas eve.

At midnight the clock stroke many times in all the houses of the city where he lived (Roma) and all Christmas trees vanished in one second.

The people were hopeless, sad and unhappy; the children cried and suffered because with the Christmas trees also the presents for them had disappeared.

The day after, the people found the presents and their Christmas trees, but they were only pictures and autographs of the thief, who said” I destroyed the Christmas trees and put them in the biggest fireplace of the world”.

Luca and his friends, went to search on the Web for the biggest fireplace of the world, they found it was in Sweden and with the help of his brother (he was a military and jet pilot), they flew to Sweden to stop the thief. In the meantime Luca’s brother called the Swedish authority to arrest the thief and have the presents with the Christmas trees back.

The thief tried to run away but, surrounded by the police, jumped from the glacier to the sea and finished in the stomach of a killer whale, which disappeared into the water with the thief.

Luca, his brother, and their friends, returned home with the trees and the presents loaded on 100 Swedish planes and finally they could spend the Christmas with their families. That was a Christmas which he and the city of Rome never forgot and remained forever in their memories.
