Family

 

This story is about 2 adults, a mother called Sarah and a father called John.

They have a son called Oliver, he is 10 years old. Sarah is pregnant again after a lot of complications with the pregnancy. She has been pregnant 3 times before, but she lost the embryo in the 3^rd month of the pregnancy. But this time she is in the 8^th month.

   It is monday the 15^th of June, and Sarah's water just broke. They hurried to the hospital, and 12 hours later they had a beautiful babygirl, they named Amy.

Oliver was very fond of her and he loved Amy from the second he saw her in the hospital. When they played he gave her toys in her hand, and held the other hand, with her tiny little fingers. At nigthtime he read goodnigthstorys loud to her, so she could fall a sleep.

 

Three years later Sarah and John where screeming at each other allmost every day.  Oliver was really scared, that they might break up, and get a divorce, and never fall in love again.

   Sarah and John ended up moving in to different appartments within a year. Oliver was sad and wanted to get them back together again. But Sarah and John where happy to be seperated from each other.

   Oliver where so tired of moving from one parent to another all the time, and thought about it constantly, in the school, at basketpractice and swimming. He could'nt concentrate anywhere he went. He's grades in school fell, he started skipping classes and stayed away from school in whole days. He's parents did'nt know anything about it, untill the principal on his school rang to them. The principal told Sarah about what Oliver was doing and not doing at school. Sarah was shocked and called John, eventhoug she did'nt want to call him. Sarah and John agreed to meet the day after and talk to Oliver.

   When they met, they where very very angry. They started yelling at Oliver and he started crying. They stopped yelling for a minute and asked: ”why are you crying?” He could'nt stop and just mumbled: ”I can't stand this anymore! I need you to get back together! I hate this, and you are ruining Amy's  and my life. Please work it out”.

Sarah and John just stood there looking at Oliver and each other. They where shocked. They where actually very sad about everything. They agreed to not yell at Oliver anymore, 'cause they could see, that it was their own fault.

   Sarah and John decided to start fresh. They planed some nights with the kids, where the whole family could be together again. They went bowling, played minigolf and did different familythings and familynights. Everything went great, and Sarah and John actually started liking each other again – wich the kids where very happy about. A few months later Sarah and John where “dating” again and moved back together. They all lived happily ever after.
