One day a boy arrived from Albania in our school. His family
moved here as his father was trying to find a work. The boy
entered in A3 class. All students were silent at the beginning
but they began to make fun with him very soon, because he could
not speak very well their language. All the day Petros - the
child from Albania- felt very awful, because he hadn’t friends
to help him. From a long time he hadn’t friends. He was staying
alone in the schoolyard and tears were coming up in his eyes
thinking his friends at his neighborhood at his country… He
might do something but what?
Then he tried to prove them that he was just a child like
them. He tried to become a good student in his class. He was
studying very hard to learn the language very well and day by
day he began to answer the teacher’s questions. Finally he
managed to become a good student and everyone was surprised,
because they couldn’t imagine that Petros would become one day
like them. So his classmates were changing their behavior as
Petros managed to learn their language while they were not able
to spell even an Albanian word. After a few days Petros proved
that he was the same with the other students and there wasn’t
any difference between them. Petros and all the other students
were people who learned the same things, people in the same
school and they had many similarities. They were young, clever,
health and happy … They like the same music, they like playing
football… Students realized that they hadn’t any reason to avoid
him. From that day, everybody faced him like the others. He was
very happy and he had finally many friends.
What is the difference if you are from this or from the other
country? We are all people under the same sky, we pray to God
for our lives, we love our families and we have the same dreams…
Let’s prove that we don’t use the law of the jungle!
