Why shall I reject what is different

If I can love it?

Why shall I hurt another human being

If I can talk to him?

Why shall I hate him

If I can appreciate him?

He might also think

you are different…

He might also think

You feel lost…

He might also think

You are upset sometimes…

Living in peace

Is not a crime,

It isn’t a pain,

It isn’t a sacrifice,

It isn’t an offence.

It is a duty,

It is a request,

It is a prayer,

It’s a child’s whisper in his bedroom,

When he feels different but

Wants to be loved

All the same.
