Tell us about your passion.
I am passionate about learning especially topics that I am interested in. Anything that intrigues me will motivate me enough to the point where I am willing to dedicate a lot of time into researching about it.

What do you aspire to be when you grow up?
I feel like I would enjoy working in the field of Computer Science as it offers opportunities to improve and create awesome new technology which can benefit our society and our way of living. However, anything that makes me happy and something I can be proud of doing is enough for me.

Share with us some of your proudest achievements in life so far.
I am quite proud of getting top 5 in SEAMC, a mathematics competition which I found extremely challenging and nerve-wracking. I’m also a little proud of being able to get 7 consecutive UKMT gold awards and several best in years over the past few years.

What makes you happy?
I enjoy spending time with friends, as well as playing pretty much any type of game. Strategy games, like board games and card games which really pit people against each other in an intense duel-like fashion.

What does GIS offer to bring out the best in you?
GIS is a place which offers activities to go above and beyond what can be covered in normal lessons, which means there are many chances to further your knowledge in subjects of your choosing.

What is the best part about studying at GIS?
The best part about studying at GIS is probably the friendliness and approachability of the teachers. This allows me to always ask questions whenever I feel like it, without being intimidated or afraid.

Describe GIS in three words.
Safe, Forgiving and Competitive.

I love GIS because…
The community is friendly and there are many opportunities given to students who wish to have an active role in representing the school.
