Enquiry based learning takes many forms but over the last four years we have settled on a challenge based model that places high value on personalised learning pathways for students.
These pathways are constructed within a “Big Idea”. In short a concept that allows for individual lines of enquiry to be taken within it. Previous iterations of the programme have used big ideas such as “Rights” and “Respect”.
The 2016 and 2017 iterations of the programme attempted to take this further. The big ideas being The “Global Goals” and “Movement” respectively. Each of this enquiries provided considerable choice for the students. The latest enquiry on Movement, especially so. Watch the video for further insights.
