GIS International Schools Chess Championship 2019

Following the outstanding success of the GIS 2018 International school Chess Championship, Garden International School is delighted to announce that sign-ups for the 2019 Chess Championship are now OPEN!

GIS Chess Championship 2018-27

Taking place right here at GIS on Sunday 03 March, the International School Chess Championship is a fantastic opportunity for you to battle it out with some of the greatest school chess players in the country. Last year, GIS welcomed over 100 players from 20 international schools, and this year’s championship looks set to be even bigger!

Whether you’re an experienced pro or you’re new to chess, everybody is welcome. And if you’ve got friends from other international schools, they’re more than welcome to join us too. Why not challenge your friends to register, and battle it out to see who will be crowned this year’s champion? Or how about entering a team to compete for the Best School Team trophy?

Cash prizes, trophies and medals are all up for grabs – and every participant will receive a certificate of achievement.
