More International Recognition for Garden International School

Garden International School (GIS) has once again proved it is a world leader with its latest accolade of the Centre of Excellence Award, given by Pearson Education. Three students from Garden International School Kuala Lumpur (GISKL) were awarded Pearson Edexcel Outstanding Learner Awards, selected from all Edexcel students in Malaysia. The award is in recognition of their outstanding performance and proven track record in certain A-level subjects.

Emir Imran Izaddeen obtained the highest international mark for A-level Mathematics. Crystal Lee Li-jing was awarded the highest mark in Malaysia for A-level French. Choi Eun Seo acquired the highest mark in Malaysia for GCE AS-level Further Mathematics and GCE AS-level Mathematics.

“I am delighted for Emir, Crystal and Choi and proud of their achievements. Their success is down to their hard work and dedication, but also the high-quality support they receive from their teachers,” said GIS principal Mark Ford.

“This is why we are one of the top international schools in the world”, he added.

The award ceremony was held on 27 August 2016 at Le Meridien Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.
