What was the best part of studying in GIS?
I would say the best thing about GIS is the way the school sets us up to succeed in the future. I didn’t think about this back then, but looking back, I appreciate how much importance GIS puts on community work and collaboration. Studying at GIS has also helped me learn the skills necessary to connect with others, and through this I have been able to live abroad as well as volunteer my time with various charity organisations.

What was your favourite subject in school and why?
My favourite subject would probably be PE, as I love playing sports and being active.

Describe GIS in three words.
Supportive, diverse and memorable.

What would be the one advice you give to current student in GIS?
Cherish your days at GIS. It might not seem like it now, but you are going to miss it when you’ve graduated. Also, take advantage of all the opportunities GIS has to offer. Nowhere else will you get such opportunities being served to you.
