What are the main strengths of the school?
I think the main strength of GIS are it’s caring community there’s a really really big sense of community at GIS and that’s reflected in all of our community service events. and it’s just a wonderful place to work and I don’t think I’ve ever worked anywhere that has such a community spirit as GIS does.
What three words would you use to describe the students?
My three words to describe the students, they’re very enthusiastic they’re very motivated if you let me have the two words here they’re ultimately caring they are very very caring individuals and again that’s really reflected in all of the volunteering and charity work that they do.
Do you enjoy working at the school?
I absolutely love working at GIS. I’ve been teaching for almost five years now and I have to say these two years I’ve been a GIS have been by far and away my favorite. I’ve never been so challenged and I’ve never been so stimulated by my work before. I think it’s just a wonderful place to work
What 3 words would you use to describe the school?
GIS is fast paced and it’s very caring and it’s incredibly supportive
What does “We are GIS” mean to you?
“We are GIS” I think reflects the community and as I said before the community spirit that we have at this
school so its everyone working together to
make a better world. Whether that’s sending children with a fantastic education and wonderful leadership skills or it’s raising money and awareness for causes
in KL that need our attention so that’s why I think “we are GIS means”.
