GIS Access Card and Wristband
It is generally acknowledged that our society is increasingly becoming a cashless one. We believe that being exposed to the real-life experience of daily budgeting by using their access card or wristband will put our students in a better position to manage their money in the future. The green wristband is worn by primary students from Year 1 to Year 6. The access card is worn with a lanyard by secondary students from Years 7 to 13, as well as staff and parents.
The main purpose of the wristband and access card is to replace cash usage. Students can use them to buy meals & snacks in the cafeteria, for printing & photocopying and for uniform & stationery purchases made via our cashless vending machine. This thereby eliminates the need for students to bring cash to school. In addition, they are used for student identification purposes throughout the school - for the library, during pick-up & drop-off, and at all school entry and exit points.
Parents can monitor any purchases made by their children, check the card balance, purchase pre-ordered meals and top up the card at any time via our online Parent Portal. Students and parents can also top up the value on their wristband/access cards via the kiosks located in the cafeteria, outside the CCA Office, or at the fee collection counter at the admin office on the sixth floor.
House Colours
All students are placed in one of the four houses i.e. Crest (yellow); Sultan (red); Chancellor (green); and Queen (blue). The purchase of the PE t-shirt must be of the correct colour according to your child’s house.
