From the size of our student body and the sheer number of grades awarded, to the impressive percentage of A-A* grades achieved, our outstanding numbers yet again place us amongst the best in the world! They are a true testament to GIS’ innovative learning culture, talented teaching faculty and amazing students. Congrats!
Across both IGCSE and A-Level, our Value-Added results were the best in 5 years, and higher than many leading schools both in the UK and internationally. This reflects both the high calibre of our teaching faculty and the innovative learning culture that permeates all that we do at GIS.
At A-Level, our students achieved a 100% pass rate, with 4/10 students achieving an outstanding three A-A* grades, or more.
At AS level (Year 12), 45% of all grades were A with with an overall pass rate of 98%. AS students are essentially half way through their A-Level qualifications so these results are promising.
At IGCSE, our A*-B and A*-C percentages were equal to and the highest in 16 years respectively! An incredible 99.6% of our IGCSE candidates gained A*-C grades in both English language and English literature, and 97% achieved A*-C grades in maths and science. These results are particularly impressive, given the large size of our Year 11 cohort, and the inclusive nature of our school.
We are incredibly proud of all of our IGCSE and A Level students. Year upon year, our students continue to demonstrate results that reinforce our heritage and reputation for academic excellence.
To our Sixth Formers, we are looking forward to supporting you through your AS and A Level studies and seeing you flourish. To those who have left for postgraduate study, we wish you all the best and look forward to hearing of your future successes!
